Carbon brush for Power winow motor

I need to replace the carbon brush inside a Power window motor. Motor brand is Denso.

Anybody here knows where we can buy Carbon brush?

This Camry Power window motor price is $302+Tax.

Carbon brush doesn't cost more than $20, if I can find one. There are some sites they sell ready made Carbon/Copper brush but the size doesn't fit.

There is nothing to recondition here. just take out the old worn out brush and put a new one. I actually took it out and looking for a new one to buy, if I can find a place.

I'd take it out and go down to NAPA on a slow day and see if A)they have one for the exact application, and then B) if they have a brush of similar or larger dimension that could be ground down to fit. I understand not wanting to spend 3 bills for a silly piece of carbon and I'd be doing the same thing. Hard to imagine that you wore out the brush though. That window must have had some use! I presume that Toyota does not have a brush kit for the motor?

You can also try an auto electrical rebuilder in your area. Look in the local yellow pages. They usually just rebuild starters and alternators, but may have a similar brush like your's in their inventory.
