Gen6 6th Gen Mirror Install Questions

Alright before anyone gets upset or mad about another thread and tells me to search. I apologize. I have read the other thread about 3 times already but cant find what I need and all the pictures are gone. I also downloaded the electrical diagram but didnt find the section on the mirrors

So anways I recently just bought these mirrors off of ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

I am having trouble figuring out what each wire does on the mirrors and which to attach them into the car. The seller sent me some informationa and some blurry pics but nothing helpful so hopefully those that have these or similar mirrors can chime in and point me in the right direction. I also need help on where to tie the turn signal wires into.

The mirror has a plug with 5 wires 2 yellow, 1 white, 1 black and 1 brown.
I believe the 2 yellow are for the turn signal, i guess one for power and one ground?

Any and all help is much appreciated.
Thanks
-Drew

The mirrors

And the plug and the 5 wires

Thanks man, I have seen this already and it still doesnt make sense

Indicator off - Yellow (outer) = GND, Yellow (inner) = GND
Indicator on - Yellow (outer) = GND, Yellow (inner) = +12v (only when light is lit up)

Mirror up - Brown = GND, Black = +12v
Mirror down - Brown = +12v, Black = GND

Mirror left - Brown = GND, White = +12v
Mirror right - Brown = +12v, White = GND

How can you use the same wire twice? Do you have any pics of where you

You can't find the electrical section on mirrors and you can't find the electrical section on turn signals either?

and they sure don't look like LEDs....................

for the turn signals i tapped into the wires that are running from the driver kick panel to the tail lights, just look at your rear taillight turn signal bulbs an check out the color on those wires, then u can trace the wires running to the back coming from the driver side kick panel....i cant remember the colors off the top of my head or i would just tell you lol, and i extended the passenger side turn signal mirror wires and same with drivers side turn signal wires to the kick panel

hope this helps

Thanks man, I was thinking of doing that. I will take a look once I get them up and running I will put together a DIY. Do you remember how the ones from the mirror went to the car. So what about the 2 yellow from each mirror? Which gets hooked up to the signal and what about the other one? Do I just ground it?

I found this

Brown connected to Black/Dark gray
White connected to Purple/Dark Blue
Black connected to Brown

there were two wires coming from the bulb and i just connected both to the wires and tested and it works fine, if it doesnt then jus swap them and that should be the difference, im sure one is a positive an ground but you could probably connect it to another ground if you want (instead of running two wires), i dont see why that wouldnt work...... yeh that color combination is coming bak im pretty sure that right...make sure to test before anything final is hooked up, which im sure u kno lol

Mirror Wiring

This link will help you tap into the wires behind the kick panel. Can't help you with the wires on the mirror.

They arent LED. These were the ones jayb82 or something like was selling on the forums a while ago. These were OEM from overseas. Similar to what lammy has or is it the same?
