5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Hey guys, new to the site. Im getting a toyota camry and im looking to get new smoked tail lights for it. Just wanted to see if I get the new 2010 Toyota Camry, would I be able to change them with 2007-2009 tailights?
are the Camry 2007-2009 the same plug in as all the 2010 taillights. I would like to get the older Camry hybrid tail lights because I want to have amber signals instead of red. I had someone driving behind my 2010 and they said with the brake lights on it was had to see the blinker. I like to 2010 taillights not a big fan that the part over the leds is clear. I think it makes them harder to see.

One of the reasons I hate the damn red turn signals... they are BARELY noticeable (as I can attest to in person).
But I don't think anyone has yet done a 2009 - 2010 mod, or a reverse 2010-2009 mod for the taillights yet. If you do, you'll be the pioneer on this.
