GEN 5 2006 Camry recommended Cabin Air Filter

Any suggestion on Camry 2006 Cabin Filter? Should I buy from Dealer (OEM) and install myself or
should I buy Fram filter. Please post your experience.

Thank you!

Use a WIX 24883 Cabin Air Filter or NAPA 4883. I will only use these anymore. They're treated to prevent bacteria growth which happens when your filter gets moist. The Fram fresh breeze may trap odors w/baking soda but, I would rather not breath the bacteria. I didn't know that smell that came out of the vents when turned on was the smell of bacteria. If there has been a lot of moisture it can grow in the housing and can be cleaned out/killed when you replace the filter. By the way WIX makes NAPA's gold series filter which is the part# above. WIX calls it bioshield. They just change the name to eviroshield for the NAPA branded one. I think the NAPA one is a little cheaper, too.

Or Bosch P3785. rockauto.com has them for $13.03 plus shipping, however:

I use WIX, but that's only because that is what my local car parts store stocks.

My dealer wanted $20/$40 for air filter/cabin filter, but I was able to get the WIX filters for about $15 each (so $30 total).
