You can find a remote on ebay cheap or buy a new on at the dealer. Expensive at the dealer though. if it didn't come with the keyless entry system from the factory then it will be very difficult and expensive to do. You can call your local Toyota and give the parts dept. your VIN. They will tell you if it came with it or not. If you just end up needing the remote. You can find programming instructions at programyourremote.com

Please do a search. This has been discussed many times in the past month. Though, some threads may pertain to 2007+ Camry's, idea is probably the same if you never had keyless entry from the start.

how to tell if 2002 camry le 4cyl has keyless entry?
2005 Camry Standard (CE) Adding Factory keyless entry
Upgrade to key with remote
What is the difference between the Standard STD model of Camry 2004 vs. the LE model?
want to add keyless entry to CE
Camry CE 2009 Keyless entry
how do I add keyless entry to a 2008 Camry CE?

I can go on....take a look at complete search

Whoops. I thought you meant the whole thing. You are referring to remote only.

You have two options, buy remote from dealer which costs an arm and a leg. If you want price, ask dealer. Other option is go on eBay, buy a remote that works with your year and go to dealership and have them cut and program the key.

Actually it does..just not for specific year.

Upgrade to key with remote

All he has to do is buy a remote

USA how to add Keyless Entry System

i had 2002 camry le without Keyless Entry System and alarm system, i had checked it with toyota dealer, so they asked me to get Keyless Entry System from the market, then they will install it for me. i got some questions:

1: which Keyless Entry System is better but not so expensive, coz i do not want to spend too much on it, just normal price. how much for the factory kit?

2: which one is the best choice, installed by myself or dealer, coz it will spend too much by dealer?

3: the car does not have alarm system? can i just add it with keyless entry system? coz i think it is going to be cheaper to combine them together. which one is better, someone told me Viper alarm system , how much is for the toyota factory alarm system? do i need to install factory system?

thanks so so much,

Check out Viper and find the one that suits you. Ask the dealer for the price on factory system.

I would go w/any key less system, installation is a different animal.

2: which one is the best choice, installed by myself or dealer, coz it will spend too much by dealer?

I don't trust anybody cutting my wires, I guess the dealer would be the best option. You can take a chance with Best buy or the likes, or you can install it yourself, it is a real pain in the ass. I am not sure adding key less is worth the money.

Just do the key less entry w/o an alarm, install a hidden kill switch with a fake LED flasher instead. Viper is good but very expensive, a basic generic system is all you need. Do not install a factory system, way overpriced.

Just go on Viper.com and see what you can afford. Or go to BestBuy if you're lucky and they have a good installer.

Find a small independent car audio and alarm shop, they can install a key less system with no alarm for about $100.00. My camry came w/key less and no alarm. I added a fake LED ($5.00) that I turn on with a manual switch before I park the car on the streets.
