n00b looking for pro & cons of I4 & V6 2010 Camry SE
Hey Guy's n Gal's, I'm a new to the site... I was searching for a new car and came across this Toyota Camry Se.. but I don't know the pro's an con's between the v4 & v6 engines, beside the gas mileage and acceleration.. I will be using this vehicle for my daily 100 mile commute and daily errands.. I've owned a Toyota before.. I want to seek advice from you owners if the engines are powerful enough for hills and merging traffic.. What do you drive or what engine did you pick an why?
I'm currently seeking quotes daily for the SE and the price difference between I4 & V6 is about $2500..

Reason: Corrected the I4 from V4
i think its best for u to test drive both n see how the power, n see which one u need.
btw its I4 not V4, i have a I4 n happy with it. but $2500 different, thats a good upgrade from 158hp to 268hp.
ok again I4 n v6 ok.
yeah i love mine i4, np with it, im dont like dual exhaust n leather. plus when i got it, it was last summer when the gas was top $4 here.
oh well like i said, if u want power go for it or go less (power) but more (sunroof n Navi)

Is the leather soft and does the dual exhaust make too much noise? just curious.. you white car pic are really nice
For that commute, you want the I4, it has good power for the size of the car. And it's comfortable inside. I drive to school 4 days a week 50 miles both ways, plus my day to day stuff and i only fill up once a week or 10 days.
happy to help, just ask ill try to answer it for u

same here RED, love the room, i even fit 3 19'(or 18') in my trunk, good gas n i love single exhaust
i4 and v6 are just about same with gas in real world conditions. lots of people will agree with me on this. if you want more power than get the v6. if you don't need the power than get the i4. drive both and see for yourself. leather is soft and both 2010 i4 se and v6 se have dual exhaust. it's not loud at all. i actually would love if it was louder.
