Wax Red Camry

so i had water marks all over my hood and my rood and trunk lid, so i tried rubbing alcohol to clean them out so during the day the car looked great all shinning and no water marks but during the night time it looked like a dirty glass, it looked bad, now i have to wax the whole car.... anymore knows what type of wax i can use to protect my paint again?

To get rid of water marks. The best thing is to fill up a sparay bottle with 50/50 white vinegar and water, and whipe the whole car in the shade. I use Nufinish, easy to apply and take off by hand.

Use the vinegar trick. Then wax with a wax of your choice. In terms of over the counter stuff, Collinite #845 is the best if you can find it. It gets a minimum of 6 months of durability and looks good as well. If you can't find that, then Meguiars NXT 2.0 is a good one too

0. before anything, grab a beverage of choice :P
1. wash with water+dish detergent ( I know its bad, but its to strip all previous layers of wax)
2. (optional) wash again with car soap
3. Dry car
4. Spot treat water marks with vinegar
5. Clay bar
6. spot treat water marks with a polish such as scratchx or nufinish (optional if water marks dont go away)
7. Wax with meguiars nxt2.0 (cleaner wax so its even got some polish in it too).
8. clean rims, tire shine, clean glass (wax if too if u want).
9. finish your beverage(s)
10. Stare at the clean car

Before waxing, you always do the wheels first. That way none of the tire shine gets on the car. At least that's what i do.

white cars you really can't do tire shine. atleast not too much of it. gets all over my front door and rear bumpers(now its rear lip).

usually i put some on then get a rag and wipe most of it off. theres still some left but it doesn't get all over the car anymore.
