I want to get a laptop mount for my 07 Camry LE but I don't really have any experience with them. I don't particularly want to drill holes in my new car but I'm not up to paying $175 for the bolt-on camry model. Have any of you guys ever installed one? If so, where'd you get it and for what price? I am considering one of the following but I'm just unsure of the quality ... Also, I've been a member for a while now but this is my first post.
btw, if u looking to use that ms nav... don't. It's the worst GPS ever.
Also don't use laptop in the car, the spinning HDD is more likely to get damage from all the vibration from the road. Better to use netbook for it's solid HDD.

Really?? No shit!! Why would u need your laptop while driving?

Netbook SSDs are horrible unless it's a Intel X25 SLC. Then again that costs as much as a netbook itself.

I want to use it for music/gps. The gps software I want to use is Garmin Mobile PC. I work at a pizza place as a delivery driver and with it mounted in the car I can type up house descriptions to make them easier to find next time. And for music so I don't have to keep unplugging and replugging in my iphone when I get in/out of the car.

Well either the Garmin software in Parallels or this new RouteBuddy software since I do have a mac.
i used to deliver pizzas too and i never used a gps, just a map or my iphone when i needed too look up the area. Just buy a garmin gps.
I have a garmin nuvi. The point is not just gps. I want to be able to make notes about certain houses so I can find them easier. I want to not have to unplug/replug my phone into the aux and charger and set it in its holder every time I need to make a call or exit the car. I also cant stand dangling wires everywhere: aux from phone, charger from phone, gps charger. If I installed the laptop mount, I could run all the cables together and hide them to make it look much cleaner.
