Simple for the GEN6 : Toyota.com, Features, Compare Base and LE.........
The only other difference is Metallic Style Interior trim on the LE.
A lot of options cannot be factory ordered on the Base: V6, Reading lights, visor mirrors, alloy wheels, moonroof, Audio options, auto mirror.
Tried that...answer me this. I can install a car starter, in fact it may be simpler on a base than LE. For a trunk release, does base have a solenoid ?

Automatic trunk release isn't available on the base?
Well my 07 has a lever to pull that pulls the cable right.....the remote has a trunk release button which is connected to the keyless entry system which is connected to the trunk release solenoid....you get the picture....

you have the cable, not the solenoid. You have to install one if you want the trunk release to work from the remote.
But I do not know how to make the trunk release work. The alarm has an aux function cable to be attached to do this. But some people say a solenoid is needed and some others say a solenoid and a relay? But no one mentions how it is done or if indeed a relay is needed.
Can you please help? If possible can you tell me where to buy it from?
