TSB 0334-09 Sunroof Question

Hello All,

I took my 2007 Camry SE into the dealer yesterday to have them check my sunroof. When sliding back, it would make a loud boom as soon as the glass dropped. Sounded like it was getting caught on the roof!

So - The dealer notes show:
Customer States: C/S Sunroof is making a popping noise When opening
Sunroof Glass out of Adjustment
Performed TSB 0334-09

Good news - Sunroof no longer makes "popping noise". Bad news, when completely closed, I have wind noise that gets louder as speed increases. And, now when open, it rattles! My 2002 Solara doesn't make any noise when the sunroof is closed. It's not supposed to make wind noise, right?

Anyone know what they did on TSB 0334-09. Any advice what to tell the dealer to fix?

I don't get any rattling or wind noise from my sunroof. I would just take it back and let them know the situation. Maybe they didn't put the weather strip back on properly?

The only thing you do with the TSB is space the sunroof properly cause the rubber catch's then slams down causing the noise.... The rattle i dought they did anything. Wind noise i would check to make sure the sunroof is closed evenly.

Thanks for the help. Took it back this morning, and just got the call that they need to replace the glass, because the glass is "crooked".

So, they have it another day, all to fix a sunroof....

They are supposed to be looking into the rattle as well, we will see..
