07 XLE brake torque specs?

Hey everyone -

I'm new to the form and wanted some help with an upcoming maintenance task. I am helping a friend out with a brake pad/rotor replacement and have been looking for the torque specs. I haven't worked on a Toyota before (all my prior experience is w/Honda cars), but from what I've read, the brake caliper design is fairly similar to what I've worked with.

So instead of going out and getting a Haynes or Helms for a one time job, I thought I'd post here to ask for some info.

I need to know two things.

1. The torque specs for:

-caliper mounting bolts
-pad holder bolts if they exist? I'm not sure if Toyota uses these. It's a holder which has the rails that the pads move on. They screw into the knuckle from the rear.
-wheel lugs (I'm guessing 75-80 ft-lbs)

2. The brake bleeding sequence. What wheel order should I follow?

There are Toyota factory serivce manuals stickied at the top of the Camry forum over at AutomotiveForums.com, that are available for free downloading. Go there and download the generation 6 manual. It will have the information you need.

I do know that the wheel lug torque is 76 ft-lbs, and the brake bleeding sequence is always passenger rear, then driver's rear, then passenger front and finally driver's front. That said, brake system bleeding is good preventive maintenance but not necessary when just changing out pads and rotors.

Quick question - when removing the front rotors, is it necessary to to remove the axle nut for the driveshaft? From what I can tell, it's a 32mm 12-pt nut which is usually on pretty damn tight.

I also read that I should use a pair of M8x1.25 screws to try and separate the rotor from the hub..

Any advice is GREATLY appreciated as I'm in a HUGE bind right now!!!!

Disregard... found some M8 screws which popped the rotor right off!
