retrofiting means taking original hid components(hid projectors, bulbs, and ballasts) and making them work with our halogen housings and wiring. pretty much taking apart your headlights and dropping in some hid projectors(acura tsx, acura mdx, rx330/350 afs, honda s2000, etc..) then resealing the headlights. retrofit is 1000x better than any hid kit. check the sticky i made.

sounds like a good plan but i have no knowledge with working on things like that.

if u interested drop me a pm. can do it if your willing to send a set of lights etc.. i'll give you a break on labor since this would be first 6.5 i would retro(ie it's a bit of a learning curve).
