Popping Noise and Rotational Noise at Highway Speeds

When I place my Camry in reverse and turn the steering wheel to the right I hearing several popping noises coming from what conclude is the right front end. Once I get to highway speeds (50 mph) I hear a rotation noise similar to that commonly associated with flat spotted tires. I have had the suspension checked and tires rotated by several vendors since the noises and sounds started. I believe that the noise from the right front end is either a sway bar, a constant velocity joint, a wheel bearing/hub, or some sort of steering linkage. The noise at highway speeds preplexes me. It might be a wheel hub/bearing issue or possibly resonance. Is there an easy way to diagnosis the problem(s)? Is my logic on the right track or am I way off?

Are you saying you are actually moving in reverse at this time or just turning the wheel? If moving, does the clicking increase with speed?

A CV joint will produce a metallic clicking sound. a whirring sound is more likely a wheel bearing. The check for this is to jack it up and use a stethoscope to locate the sound from the spindle side of the wheel assembly.

A CV joint should last a long time on a Camry unless the boot has been damaged in which case they can go south very quickly if dirt got in. If the car has less than 100k miles and the boot is sealed with no signs of grease on the outside, then you might look elsewhere. The joint is most likely to click in the area where it sees the most wear, and in this case, in a forward position rather than at the extreme end of the turning pattern.

If you have had it checked, maybe go to a certified dealer and have it checked. Strange where you took it could not find it.

Sounds alot like a CV to me

Try checking the sway bar bushing on that side to see if it's worn out. Then come back and let me know because I have identical symptoms (also on the right) and from researching that was one of the likely culprits since they wear extra badly on this car. Haven't had time to check my own car. I think my father had his done under warranty but they may have replaced more stuff for him.
Please do post if it was the sway bar bushing though is it kind of a rattle over bumps as well as the sounds when steering at low speed? I thought it was a hub at first as well-scared the crap out of me.
