2010 Camry Audio Display

Just got a 2010 and when i start it, the message 'welcome to camry' scrolls across the radio screen. is there a way that i can customize that message?

No. i remember reading it somewhere in this forum that you cannot change that welcome message. unless the '10s are any different than the older ones.

I bet you could, but it wouldn't be easy. Through the ODB connector you can access all the little computers that run your car, and flash the memory, and I bet that's a setting in there. I would hate to flash my memory and screw my car all up, though. But I bet's it's possible...

its probably possible, but the hassle involved just makes it not even worth trying. it would probably be even easier to get an aftermarket headunit.

Doubt you can do this through the CAN/OBD-II port. I would guess the radio operates standalone.
