Anzo Tail Light And Headlights Issue! Help Needed.
I have a 2007 toyota camry. I bought anzo led tail lights and headlights. I took it to my mechanic and he told me the tail lights didn't fit and he had an issue installing them. Does anyone have an issue with anzo or knows anything please let me know. You can also email me at bobLemeLbob@yahoo.com
Thanks

The LED aftermarket tail lights will fit on 07-09 with any trim (CE, LE, SE, XLE) except the Hybrid model. And the headlights should fit any trim 07-09 including the Hybrid.
Sounds like your mechanic just didn't want to do the job, any specific reason? Did he even try?

The Anzo and Eagle Eyes look exactly the same (same company?). What LNGasMan stated above is correct. I have the Eagle Eye version of the taillights and they had no problem fitting. The only thing about aftermarket products is some minor imperfections but nothing to the point where its not installable.
Did he say what the issue was with installing the taillights? In order for us to help you, you need to be more specific.
Well, my mechanic said there was a space between the bumper and the tail lights, and if it were to ever rain or snow it wouldn't be protected. He also told me it looked hideous on the car. Unfortunately i do not know much more. Do you guys think it could be a defect?

Install it yourself. There are DIYs on how to install it yourself. The only problem that I know of is the bottom of the taillight protruding from the rear fender.
Hey. Thanks guys for all your help. I found out more information from my mechanic. First of all i will like to say the guy who i brought it to has done this for so many years and he is highly rated and owns his own body shop and he knows what he is doing. He told me when he tried to install lights first, there are like 2 bolts and something like a clip. He said the clip wouldnt stay on and kept on popping off. He also said there was a gap between the fender and the piece(tail light) so if it were to ever rain, than it would be able to leak inside. He also told me that when he close the trunk it didnt align with the other piece of the tail lights since the camry has 4 piece tail light, 2 on each side. Help please! Please answer this, do u think the tail lights are defected? Is it worth exchanging the parts and trying again?

The clip you referring to is at the bottom of the taillights and black? If so, this is not suppose to come off and is suppose to go under the bumper.
As for the gap, this is a known problem as I mentioned before. It bulges out at the bottom slightly. No water leaks into the trunk or light. I've had mine for over a year and others longer.
As for aligning, a friend had the same problem. What I found out was that they had a nut on the screw that made it stick out further and made it wobbly. This was on the trunk lights.
I highly doubt its defective but more of poor craftsmanship. Thats how it always is with aftermarket parts.

At least it sounds like he tried to install it. I've known a few mechanics who just tell customers that it doesn't fit and never even tried. Usually it's because they don't feel like doing the job since the pay rate of swapping the parts is not is not worth the pain of tweaking things to make it work. Since it was the owner of the shop, I would think he would have contacted you when he installed them and shown the issues to you before removing them again...
You should take DrewsCam up on his offer of installing them for you.

If you want to do the front, let me know. I'll help. Front should be easy but when I put in my retro'd headlights, it was easier with 2 people.
