I need to replace my OEM headlights because one of my neighbors friend's truck backed into it with the trunk down and broke my headlight and dented the shroud or w/e..(Sigh I just black housing'd it)..
"this item cannot be compatible with Stock HID lighting system, if you want to use, you will need to take it to professional mechanics for the modification of your lighting system, thank you"
So if I wanted to have my H11 HIDs on these headlights, what would I have to do?
I don't want to mess anything up .. even more lol and I don't want my HID kit to go to waste..so please any help would be great! and greatly appreciated
why not get them to replace the headlamp with an oem one.
I think the aftermarket one is saying that just to save their asses in case it doesnt fit.
It does state OEM hids since they are usually special sized bulbs like d2r d2s or soemthing im not so great with that but as long as the aftermarket headlamp is h11 , your hid's should work
Cause I didn't actually see them do it, but the only thing low enough so that ONLY my headlights break is the trunk of that f*cking tacoma when it's lowered.

And my neighbors are scary as well.
And they probably won't admit it..
You better take a walk over there and be like WTF???
yea take a walk over. find yourself a set of original headlights. i have some with the halos for someones retrofit and well they aren't the best inside and out. the halos are cheap and bound to go at some time plus it's a bit too much rice for me.
only thing i like on these headlights is the lenses on the projectors are crystal clear and they are already blacked out.
also these aftermarket units will take hids but the spotters in these are a bit wearder so will probably cause noticable glare unlike the oem units.

in the OP, it sounded like your were sure. With this post, you're assuming. Its one or the other.
I suggest going on eBay and buying a set of used headlights. Why go a step down in quality? And also, we dont have "stock HID lighting system". If the headlights are for Camry and your HIDs are H11, it will fit. However, quality will be crap and you'll blind other drivers even more. Be warned.

^ +1,
I would go to ebay and get a used headlight if you cannot prove that your
neighbor backed into you.

Thanks, I think umm..like DCM said, I'll probably just go with the .. ebay ones with halos cause theyre already blacked out.
Oh I meant HID's..not stock HID lighting system haha, so I'm assuming my existing HID bulbs will fit...
And I'm pretty flippin sure it was that !@!#@# truck! Unless....someone bashed my headlight for fun but I live in a pretty safe neighborhood so what kind of sick person would do that.
I got a local ebay pair of headlights that were already blacked out for $40. Theyre not in the best condition but I had to get to school today. Depending on how long these hold up, I'm still looking for headlights..with nice projectors haha.
i know that SE/XLE/LE(?) headlights are different cause of different tint or something..
I'm still tempted to get those Halo Projectors
A closer look as I was getting breakfast today..
looks like theres dust on the lens as well as the plastic covering, looks like someone did a bad seal on
the black housing..
eBay Halo headlight will work better then OEM headlight just the quality are not great like OEM but will fit and work perfec for our camry just grap that piece and do a retro on future
