Gen6 JBL and Aftermarket Ebay Nav Unit help needed

ok, yes I have done a search. I don't see the info I am looking for.

I purchased one of the "factory look" nav units off of Ebay. I have the JBL system in my 07 SE. I had already installed another one of these units in my wifes non-JBL unit in her 07 SE and had no problems as it was 95% plug and play.

My question is...I bought a PAC JBL Amp Turn-On Interface for Toyota CANbus Vehicles.

My question is...what wires do I need to splice to install the interface for this install.

First the interface has four RCA lines for the FL, FR, RL, RR speakers. The head unit only has a RR and RL RCA cable and one Sub Woofer cable. How does one deal with that issue?

I believe the steering wheel controls cable will still plug into my new stereo as there is a port for that.

So do I just need to hook up the speaker part of the interface and plug the rest up as I did on my other install or?

I am just trying to determine what needs to be connected and what I can still use the factory style plugs for.

You almost have to been an engineer compared to the last time I did this on the non JBL unit. I've had good luck with the other one I installed about 6 months ago and decided to do mine now. It is great to use the wife as a guinea pig! lol

No one has encountered this problem? This is the stereo I purchased...

I tried wiring it up with no success. The stereo has no wiring diagram so it makes it hard to tell what wires go where. It is intended as a plug and play for the non-JBL units with it works fine it.

Kermitson,

Did you ever figure out anything with the install on this for the JBL system?

Thanks,
