How to adjust foot-pedal parking brake on XLE model?

I searched and found info on how to adjust the console-mounted parking brake lever on the Gen 5 camry, but I have a foot-pedal parking brake on our XLE. Does anyone have info on this? Ours groans and slips on a hill.

thanks

Remove the rear wheel, and then rubber plug on the drum. Disengage the parking brake. Turn drum so that the hole is somewhere in the 5 to 7 O'clock position. There is an adjusting gear in there that you turn to adjust the brake shoes. Expand it to maximum so that the drum can no longer turn. Retract about 6 clicks. Repeat for other side.
