09 Camry LE

I currently have a 09 Camry and i was interested in buying the factory navigation and I found out that in order for the navigation to function it needs a JBL amp. Is this true? Is it a specific JBL amp needed or any other JBL amp can work? Do i need to install new speakers for my car?

THANK YOU!

Have U done the search on TN?

IMO, if it doesn't come with it than best to go after market nav. You will benefit many other features that the OEM doesn't have.

I think the only feature that someone might want built in OEM Nav is the connection to the operation of the car to function without signal (like in tunnel). I'm not talking about the simulation in Garmin GPS. The OEM built in Nav knows when the car stop/turn/speed without Satellite signal.

I might be wrong, that you can install and reconnect all these just like the car that came with Nav.

If you want to get one of the best systems that are OEM-style, then look up Fly Audio. I've seen the ones for the Lexus 2IS and they are better than factory. While pricey, the maps and software updates are free after the initial purchase price. You definitely won't be disappointed with the system since its integrated so well.

Since you're in OC, go to the Automax service place off Jamboree and check out the system. Both Nick and Mat are very knowledgeable about it and can help you with any questions you have. Tell them Isaac referred you from Club Lexus to check it out

I don't believe so. Its a separate receiver for the GPS thing. When looking at it, its just small enough to be put under the OEM antenna we have on my 2010 roof if you don't have the satellite radio option

Sorry to bring this thread back. I tried to research on FlyAudio units, but found many variations. The manufacturer website lists the model to be E7502NAVI, while the US website lists it to be D7502NAVI. Also, I contacted AutoMax, and they claimed to sell E8002, which is an upgrade for E7502. I also found that the D-series has DVD drive behind the screen, while the E-series has DVD drive on the screen. I'm so confused and want to know which one is real, which one is the newest. (even their pictures are not consistent either)

E7502: http://www.flyaudio.net/product_id.asp?id=113&xid=1
D7502: http://www.flyaudio.us/7500-series/5...amry-d7502navi
E8002: http://store.automaxservice.com/FlyA...amry_p_35.html

What do you guys all think?

Thank you!
