Question Tail light options for Gen 6.5

What options are there for modding the tails in a 2010 SE? I like the look of some of the lightly smoked LEDs, but I haven't found any that look like Gen 6.5 tail lights (red top, white bottom). I'm ambivalent about it, and I want a more sporty/sophisticated look than a ghetto look (which I worry about, since my max legal tint looks pretty dark). Camry is gray.

I'm kinda starting from nowhere here, are the tails plug and play, is it more sensible to get the stock tails tinted, etc.

Since the 2010 is already LED, there is no alternative on the market. Your only option is to get it tinted.

In that case, I'm looking for some aesthetic guidance. What VLT% would give them a light smoke look, without making the whole thing look adolescent or ghetto?

i remember looking at the sockets on the 2010 tail lights and if my memory is good then the socket was same as 2007-2009 so you could always order those tails. if you go that route i'm sure some others will want your tails. need someone to confirm this though(if sockets are same).

I think this was discussed in one of the Gen 6.5 threads that the plugs are different. I'll see if I can find the post. If it was the same plugs, I think people would of done it by now.

Don't change your tails, they look good the way they are.

Got 2010 Camry?

Dont know if Net was referring to headlights or both head and tails.

I cant find any posts. A bit of search about 6.5 can get the answer..somewhere

This thread says yes - 2010 headlight and tail light. However, it talks about gen 6.5 tails on gen 6 but the same should apply. I dont know if this is prior to 6.5 coming out.
