Dash lights flashing and such could indicate computer or ECU related problems that people are saying were responsible for recent deadly Toyota runaways. But in your case it's luckily stalling.
Have the dealer document everything, especially the instrument lights flashing part and battery strength, in case your car decides to accelerate out of control later and rear end another like Eric Weiss in the article below:

Have the problem clearly documented. Even if the dealer shove you out the door saying everything is "normal".

Multiple time would not start. When did dash lights would blink off and on.
Thought maybe switch in shifter.
Engine would jump start with no problem. Put shift in neutral--engine died.
Jump started again drove it dash lights blinked, then stayed on then power was being lost while driving so gave more gas, rpm to 3000, speedometer read zero mph yet car was moving about 20 mph. Then car was just fine for several miles so could get it home.
In for diagnosing and fixing.
Any ideas of the problem?
