hey you mean PECCA leather seat cover replacements right? that's the brand I have installed.
I took mines to Bill Top's Shop in downtown/Eastside Long Beach.
LOL yeah, thanks for the correction Ryan. How much did they charge you just for the install?
It was a bit pricey at 650 dollars. But I went to them because of their strong reputation. They had my Camry for about 3 days since they can get real busy at times. They do contract work for the city of Long Beach.
why not just do it yourself? its really not that hard and you will save a lot of money, not to mention feeling proud about your work. It really only takes about a full day if you do it by yourself, less if you have help.
if you do, just wear gloves. I had about a thousand cuts and hangnails on my hands after I finished mine.
Also, if your car doesn't have heated seats, it would be a perfect time and opportunity to install some aftermarket butt warmers.
650 to install covers? is that including the price of the covers?
And 3 days damn if they are covers it should only take a few hours
It's actually a LOT of work, and it's not that simple.
They aren't just covers, its a complete interior replacement kit. You tear off the cloth on all the seats and armrests to expose the foam and stretch the leather over the foam, attaching it to the metal wires in the seating with hog rings. Not to mention taking apart your doors to remove the cloth on the door panels and install the leather. Unless you have at least 3 people working on it full steam, there's no way you could finish it in just a few hours.
I did mine by myself without any help and it took me a full day (about 8-9 hours) just to do the seats and armrest, then another couple of hours the next day to do the door panels.
However, you are right about one thing, $650 is very pricey. Most shops should only charge between $400-$500
Dam, even 400 sounds pricey to me lol
Do you have any pics of your install ScrooYoo?

x2 and thanks for clarifying the difference between leather seat covers vs. actual leather seat cover replacement kits. yeah 650 is a bit pricey. I just went with what most people preferred/referred to in my area in terms of customer service and reputation.
400-500 sounds about right. btw, joon where did you get your pecca kit at and how much?

I guess you didnt read what i wrote but original post was about covers so I figured this guy was talking about covers so that why i talked about COVERS. Covers dont take long but yes a full replacement takes awhile. But either way 650 is alot. Over by me I can get a full custom job done with material for less. just my 2 cents

no worries.
In the opening post of this thread he said "PECCA leather interior with door panels and console" At that point it was pretty obvious he was talking about replacement covers, not slip-over seat covers. Just a small misunderstanding on your part. no worries.
I purchased the pecca kit on eBay for $200 from accessoriesrusfl or something.
and thanks for the pics ScrooYoo, after looking at the camry manuals for removing the chairs, Im considering just installing the leather myself. Id rather invest the 400 in some 19s.
