Gen5 where to tackle wind noise?

hey all,

after getting my new tires, it is very quiet in my cabin, other than wind noise. Where can i start or what can i do to cut down on wind noise? It seems to be mainly coming from the doors where they open and close.

I had a similar problem with wind noise on my driver side window. I just have to do a quick roll down and back-up on the window to make the noise go away lol.

Is your OEM door rubber in good condition? Some sound deadening can also help quiet down the cabin. It helped a lot when I sound deadened my entire cabin and doors.

my OEM door rubber is perfectly fine.. and I have sound dampened the front doors already. I googled it and some people say to add some more weather stripping along the OEM rubber. Maybe i will try that

only so much you can do with a non luxury car. Eventually your tires are going to wear down adn it will be a bit louder again, so for now enjoy it just turn your beats up and ignore it lol.

Sorta off topic but i remember seeing a thread where a guy bought a acura csx type s (or was a civic si), and he removed his dash to take the insulating mat under for "weight reduction", aside from him being an idiot, i remember in the pics that the mat thing was THICK as hell. Hence why I think it was from a acura. But yeah higher end cars focus more on that stuff so I would say your best bet would probably be to dynamat your whole car.

It would help with your SQ sound system but then you also have down falls of costs, time (time = money), extra weight, therefore mpg will decrease etc etc.

Windows and side mirrors. Maybe a deflector will help. All you can do is try.
