tire size question

i have a 2007 camry se, w/ the trd 18's well the stock tires are wore out after 34k miles, down to the wear lines...
i have looked for tires and dont see a whole lot out there for a 225/45-18
the stock tire is a Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 so it is 25.9" tall and 8.9" wide
i was looking at a 225/50-18
the tire is a Michelin HydroEdge with Green X it is 26.9"tall and 9.2" wide.


my cars is stock height, really not a whole lot done to it, minus the two spot where it has been hit while parked...
would it rub or anything?

those hydroedge are 50-75 bucks cheaper per tire then the mxm4's and have a better tirerack rating

so comments?
