Heater Blower Noise until Car Warms Up

I have a 2008 Camry Le and when it is cold out the heater blower makes a chirping noise like a cricket. It does this for a minute or so until the car heats up. When it starts blowing warm air it stops. This happens on all speeds of the blower. It goes away for the rest of the drive. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it truly a problem with the blower motor or something less significant.

Any thoughts?

Ed

Is this a problem or just an inconvenience?

It gets very cold there i'm guessing. also i'm guessing maybe the grease on your blower fan bearing is a little thick in wintertime. When the heat comes out, maybe it warms up the blower motor enough for the grease to start lubricating the fan shaft again. Easiest solution, don't run the blower until the engine's warm enough to blow hot air?
