Seperates or 6x9's

I've seen allot of people recomending the Critical Mass rs/ss69's for the Camry (Just purchased a 2010, With the basic Stereo).
Not really too concerned about what is simpler to install, I'm more interested in SQ, Currently have a set of the Older Boston Acoustic Pro 6.4's sitting in my closet.
The question is basically, Has anyone compared the SQ of the CM's to a set of or comparable set of separates and still preferred the CM RS/SS69's ( I like my music crisp/clean and very tight).
Should be noted that I'll be initially running the speakers with the stock Deck for now until I save enough for a good in dash GPS unit and I'll add my Amp's/Sound Processor and Sub at that time.

Critical Mass are expensive as hell. Some may say that its worth the arm+leg but honestly, I think you can spend half that amount and still get a great setup. I myself have four 3-way polk audio 6x9s and a JL amp powering them and I love the crisp and clear sound it produces. I'm also running on my stock deck but as an audiophile myself, I can honestly say that it sounds amazing. There isnt as much bass as I'd like but for speakers, they hit pretty decent.

This is my setup:

Polk Audio DB690 3-way loudspeakers
Polk Audio MMC690 3-way loudspeakers
JL Audio 300/4 300w RMS amplifier
Kicker CK8 amplifier wiring kit
PAC OEM-2 4-channel RCA converter
Monster Cable 401XLN 4-channel RCA
Custom 6x9 speaker adapter plates

It was all ~$350. I installed it myself so no labor costs.
