Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Hi, I'm new to the forum and at the moment I drive a Scion tC. The car is currently modified tastefully but now I'm thinking about trading in for a Toyota Camry SE 5spd 2007-2009. What would you guys recommend me doing? Should I just keep my tC? or Should I get the camry? I will not be getting the camry until there is one that hits the Toyota Dealership I work at.

might be a while before one shows up... if it ever does?
Good luck finding a SE 4cyl 5 speed....take it from a guy who traveled about 300 miles from my dealership to another to get a new one. They are sooooooo rare and far and few between. If you find one good luck!!!!
do whatever costs you the least money and gives you the most value. You don't say the year of the car you own but if you got it new you may still be paying the depreciation. Note the cost of a new car vs even a two or three year old one, subtract the difference and most of that is depreciation. If you just got the car or have had it more than 4 or 5 years, i'd trade it. Both these approaches avoid the depreciation loss.

My Scion tC is a 2007 but I got it late 2006.....so I basically had this car for almost 3 yrs and 3 months. Car is all paid off after my second year of owning the Scion.

Why you say that? Is there something I should be aware of that's bad about the Camry? Want to do a slight VIP style theme but I still want to be able to have a manual car. Lexus are out of my price range.
idk about u but i love my Camry, always wanted a tC( was my dream car), never got it, if u go wit Camry u can have fun my turbo it, 2AZ engine are easy to pay with, we have turbo Camry hit up to 344whp, n we have Camry that is Vip style theme so i think u can have fun both way, also i think u can go with something like IS300, GS300, SC300, all are RWD n been modified like crazy with the 2JZ engine n u know how the Lexus Vip things go. i think u should go with an used Lexus if u want a lot of power rather then a newer year Camry FWD, nothing again the FWD but u know how they are if u hit high hp. if u can start all over i would love to get a used IS300 or GS300 bc i love the Vip style too

I'll have to think about it. Only way for me to get a GS300 is if I can get it in white with low miles but the chances of that happening to slim to none. Plus with a camry I can be such a sleeper
yeah im a sleeper bc i live in VA( @$$ cops), its all up to u if u go on a long way n high power with those Lexus i dont think u will hit a limit(expect yur wallet) compare to the 2az engine, plus RWD, if u willing to look for one u can find it plus u still have the tC so just find the right car n make the right decision. i was never into power so im happy with my 2AZ engine. but RWD with be fun maybe drifting too
