09 Camry Le HID

Hi all,

After spending hours reading countless thread about hid, I want to actually invest in this thing. I hate the dang stock lights. I have glasses so I need to see better. I am willing to pay alot to do it right. Has anyone done a retrofit hid install. I don't want to buy that crap plug and play and glare people on the road.

I am really new to this and just wanted to know about how much it will cost to do it right with good quality bulbs (phillips or slyvania), ballasts, and projector's.

Are there any tutorials with this type of project? Links to quality parts? Suggestions?

theres is a retrofit thread and there are people who can do retrofits for you(including me). go through the hid sticky as it shows retrofits and if you are confident enough then do it yourself. if not then drop me a pm and we can talk prices.

bulbs range from 40-90 depending on type and how many hours then have. ballasts would be around 100 or so depending on type. projectors are around 150 with clear lenses.

Hey yenracer, i highly recommend paul, very precise and timely. Mine came out really well, and he can help you out. You can check out www.hidplanet.com for info on it, they have a lot of info on retros and you can go to ddmtuning.com for a pretty good hid kit, really only for the ballasts and get bulbs and a depending on which projector you get, get an adapter cable like i have. gluck with your endeavors and if you have any questions drop a pm and ill try to answer any questions you got.
