New Owner of 2010 Camry LE

hi all, new member here and also a first time owner of toyota. i'm a civic fan and till to date still is, but with a wife and cute daughter.. i find myself attracted to the camry for it's reliability and comfort for a family car. still have my 2000 civic ex modded though as my daily commuter.

long story short, i see a lot of posting for 2009 models and have seen that most of the 09 parts will fit on the 2010. plans for this 2010 white camry lx is to slam it, upgrade the steelies to rims, and strut bars and sway bars all around.

for my civic, i went JDM pretty much and would like to do that for the camry if possible. but since i don't know much about camry, i'm hoping members here can help. besides UR strut bars any JDM one you guys and gals would recommend?

btw, would the 2010 be the 7th gen?

thanks, Lu

Hey there, just upgrade myself from a tastefully modded 2009 Civic (wrecked, their fault) to the Camry SE w/ zero regrets. Just received it last night in fact. I got the I4 with manual transmission and it feels twice as fast as my old Civic. If you didn't already make the purchase I agree with previous post to check out the SE.

1st mods are going to be HID's, tint, NAV and an inch or so drop.

Good luck!!!

kenny, the reason why i didn't go with the SE is because the price i got for the LE is too damn good to pass up. i won't be taking it to the tracks or anything like that, so i figure LE is ok. plus it's mainly going to be wifey's car.. so too fast is not good..

trehouse: sorry to hear that man. glad to hear u were ok from the crash. our 2002 civic's tranny died, so that's why we went with the camry. the tranny died at 197052 miles, so not worth replacing. but my 2000 civic ex is still running strong, so plan to drive that to death. haha
