Gen5 2002 camry hid kit??

hello all

i have been on the site reading since 2pm today, it is now 7pm haha. ive learned alot about HID kits and retrofits. as such, the best solution for me is a simple HID kit, the retrofit is alot of work and im scared to bake my headlamps lmao not to mention its my daily driver.

the question is regarding the different level of lights the 02 camry provides, i had a 2000 camry and and it did not have DRL. my current 2002 does have DRL in addition to the low, mid, high beams. i want to keep this functionality if i decide to get the HID kit......so i think bi-xenon lights with 9005 and 9006 bulbs is correct? this is whats confusing me lol. but the basic idea is i want the HID kit but i still want to be able to use the citylights, regular long beams and the high beams....am i asking for the impossible? lol

next question is regarding the kalvin temperature. the reason i want HIDs is because i want a clear white light. i read that 4300k does the job, but then websites say that 5000k is good but depending on the housing it may seem yellow(which i dont want) so 6000k is the best to get clear white with the most visibility. i want to avoid blue, i just want clear white and functional lights lol.

those are my two questions. i would greatly appreciate some advice and maybe some HID kit suggestions.

thanks for your time!

I would suggest 5000k for your low beam, no need to get a kit for your drl/ high beam.

your car has 9006 low beams and 9005 high beams. If you take a look at the housing you will see that u have two seperate bulbs for those lights. No need for a bi-xenon, you just need the 9006 bulb for your low beams. at least i think thats what u were confused about

4300 will give you the best visibility (i know this from my G35).
6000 will be more bluer in colour, best for looks IMO (I'm changing mine to these), slightly less visibility.

5000 is like the perfect colour for looks vs performance.

The lower you go, the more yellow it gets (below 4300), the higher you go the more blue and purple it gets (over 6000)

Without a retrofit of true HID projectors......You're 1. breaking the law. 2. Putting on coming traffic and peoples lives in danger. 3. wasting your money. 4. Major glare..which brings you back to point number 2.
