HID Issue

I noticed when i drive at night my HIDs do not brighten up signs nor reflectors on the highway even reflectors on cars. I got an aftermaket halo projector headlight housing made by anzo and i also got hid kit by xenon vision which is 35watt 6000k. Does anyone have any ideas on why it doesnt brighten up reflectors. Frankly i am able to see less at night with the HIDs than with my regular halogens with my OEM headlights. the hids with my halo projectors on my car on brighten up the ground so i cant see shit at night past 15 feet cuz it doesnt brighten the reflector which make the highway light up. And frankly i never realized how efficent reflectors were until they dont get lit up, u realize how dark it gets on the highway.
ANy1 help please! i spent a ton of money on my halo headlights and hids but i just really cant see far in front of me. AND NO I DID NOT get the squirrel spotters done. BUt anyway i assume it would make it worse to see signs and relfectors, not better.

When you installed your aftermarket headlights, Did you align/adjust them to on the car?

I think your problem is the 6000K.

I was just moment ago driving with a car with HID +6000K and I can see clearly my 4300K lighten things up better.

your problem is this.

1) 6000K is less visibility than 4300K. So compared to a 4300K HID, your output will be significantly worse. BUT, it should still be brighter than your stock halogens which leads to...

2) Your aftermarket headlight has horrible projectors. Most aftermarket headlights have poor quality in output.

Solutions: Retrofit.

yep it'll cost a bit to do the retro. we can discuss over pm. pretty much the projectors(the ones in halo headlights) are good and bad. they spread like stock pretty much on the ground but the spotters are useless compared to oem. they lack the small box like reflectors that reflect light into the squirrel spotters/slit. heres a pic to show what i mean. stock projector bowl is on right n u can see lower half is different with the small boxes and aftermarket bowl/back is on left. shield from aftermarket is in the center. bottom left is front half of oem projector. bottom right is front half of aftermarket projector:

Boblemelbob, it would help if you posted a couple of photos of your cutoff against a wall from close and further away to diagnose the problem. If it's an aiming or installation issue that should be pretty apparent. The 6000K bulbs should be fine.
