2010 HID retro fit?

I was wondering if anyone has done a retro fit on a 2010 yet? I realize the headlights are not much different but just wanted to check and see.

My last car I used LS430's so, I want a great quality projector set up.

Thanks

The 2010 has a bigger projector. I know that for a fact.

They have about a 3" lens, so the 2.5" projectors we use for the Gen6 will have a little gap around the lens if installed in the Gen6.5. Most 3" HID projectors are bi-xenon, so that will make for some creative retrofitting.

I've been looking for a cheap broken 2010 headlight just to bake open to see what projector might fit. I'm thinking E55's may fit, but they are not the greatest projector.

To the OP maybe projector's out of a Nissan Maxima would work. Not the newest body style but the second to last. I was at the gas station pumping gas when a Maxima pulls right behind me in line. I noticed right away the projector is at least 3" with a separate high-beam reflector. Give it a shout and check it out!

The previous gen Maxima uses the E55 projectors which are 3" projectors and
are average in output.

I found this on HIDPlanet. I did not know the Maxima was a bi-xenon projector.

Quote:
Nissan Maxima uses a bi-xenon hella projector very similar to the "e55 hella bi-xenon" but has a different shield.
Quote:
Audi A4/S4, Valeo D1S/D2S, Valeo= Audi a4/s4 uses the Valeo xenon projectors. The Audi A4/s4 for the years 1999.5-2001 and S4 for the year 1999-2001 use a the D2S Valeo Projectors. In 2002 the Audi A4 switched to the new body style and changed the projectors from using a D2S type bulb to a D1S bulb, then later on the new s4 was added in 2004. The difference between the A4 and S4 is that the s4 is a performance version of the s4, much like the m3 of the 3-series. There are many versions of the valeo including the valeos with the large 3" lenses and the valeo bi-xenon. The Audi a4s that were equipped with halogen got projectors that were an h7 version of the a4/s4 valeo d2s projectors.
