^ He's right. I had had the superstar bright white light whatever its called, the 50$ ones. And one of them burned out in about 3 months. My brother had the same problem with his at 6 months.
I'm using the Sylvania SilverStars on both my vehicles. I put them on early last summer, I believe. So far, so good. These were only $14.00/ea.
I like them better than the Halogens.

Ive used the 9006 Silverstar ultras ($50 ones), they suck. Ive had them for a good year, took them out they just sucked. Switched to GE Nighthawk sport, really light blue tint, its a lot better and still maintains a small amount of white and i can actually see. i looked around on ebay for some new bulbs to try out, anyone have an opinion on these bulbs? they look promising with 30% bigger tubes: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LUMIN...#ht_3213wt_833
sorry, not meaning to thread jack but it can be another option.
+1, whiter, longer lasting, guaranteed..................my fogs and high beams have been in for 3 years, H9 lows for a year or so.
Wow, where have I been, never heard of them. I've always been sceptical of these types of bulbs ever since the old days with those PIAAs and Eurolite bulbs, burning out every 3 months.

Any idea what makes these ones last longer?
1. Canada????
2. Well, I only drive 12,000 miles/year and most during the daytime hours. I'm not saying they are magic but the other crap (or Luminics) you mentioned I would never install.
