ram air intakes are better for torque, cold air is better for top end hp. also depends on where youre driving. cold air intakes tend to get dirty...fast. not to mention cai's are harder to install than air ram intakes.
as for exhaust, most decent exhaust will sound close to the same..muffled and deep. i have dual vibrant streetpower's with a resonator delete and 2.5 piping catback and it has a nice deep tone

Intake add lit bit hp, most likely free more airr compare to the stock intake, also the sound too. the only CAI( Cold Air Intake) for Gen6 is Fujita( i believe???) its a cold air so its doesnt make that much noise compare to the SRI( Short Ram Intake) like the one i have, bc i hear both in person n my is loud
for exhaust get the TRD or custom like other pp. depend on what u want!!! TRD is more deep n nice sound, my friend have it on V6, sound good.

went from DUAL to single 2.5" Stainless Steel piping,27" Magnaflow Resonator, Megan Racing M-Spec II Carbon-Ti Muffler (hear this one in person in the meeting last year, sound nice Net)
I have the Fujita CAI.
My god is the sound amazing, Idk how it is compared to SRI's but this thing is awesome. At the right time/RPMs you can hear it suck in air it makes like a hissing sound. And sometimes when I rev it, because it makes a really nice inhaling sound and its very loud. My friend said he was driving alongside me on local and he can hear my intake. Also another time when I was driving uphill, I put it in [2] on the typtronic(however you spell it) and my friends were behind me, when we stopped he was like "You're loud" and I don't even have an exhaust! . One thing I'm scared about is the possibility of water-logging, but I got a condom for it (Hydroshield) so its like a cover for your filter and its water proof. Thank god I got it before the flooding here in CA.
