2005 camry v6 transmission clunk in first gear- Pls help
The car is a 2005 Camry LE v6 ... as soon as the car starts rolling (and I mean at a very low speed, at approx. 5 kph or around 3 miles per hour) I hear a noise like "clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk" coming from the front... (not very loud at all, but you can hear it).
Car has approx 59,000 miles (95,000 kms). The rest of the time the transmission is fine (shifting, downshifting, no cluncks at all). If I park the car for a while, when the car starts moving again, at 5 kph it makes the noise again.
Any ideas? I am getting ready to sell the car soon, would like to know if this requires a diagnostic from the dealer/mechanic now.
Any other owner hears a similar noise?
