Hey everyone, a snow plow passed and broke my mirror, I went to Toyota and a new one costs about 350 plus labor and all and I was wondering if those KoolVue mirror would do the job, anyone bought them before?

I have a pair on my car. They fit good and posed no problems. You will have to find a body shop somewhere to paint them for your body color. The internal parts are not interchangeable with the USA made OEM parts. They will mount and plug in properly. Look around some more, I found mine online for less than that price and it came with heaters. I bought mine to upgrade to heated mirrors w/LEDS in the OEM mirror and am using the KoolView mirrors on my car while doing my mod, This is a long term mod, I am attempting, my hangup is the location and drilling of the holes for the 18 ea. 3mm amber clear lens LEDs for each mirror housing. (Wiring connections and waterproofing of the LED assembly is the other hurdle.)

The heating element is attached to the mirror glass on the back side. Only the mounting bolts to the door are an exact match (and the electrical connector) to the OEM door. All of the other parts (mirror, pivot mechanism to mirror mounts, pivot mechanism to housing mounting and the housing to the extension to mount it to the door) are NOT interchangeable with the OEM parts. (This has to do with patent infrigment, it is after all, an aftermarket part.) I have had mine since last April, no issues.
