How do I black out chrome window trim?

Hey guys, iv seen a few ppl on cardoman and a couple other sites with gen 6 camrys with the window sills or the window weather stripping, (the chrome around the windows on the outside) in black, does anyonw know how to make them black, or if u can biuy them in black ?

i went the black electrical tape way and it has been on perfectly fine now for 2-3 months so far... went through a couple of rains and a big snow storm already

i think duplicolor metalcast also could work good here. make it more unique ie a dark chrome instead of black.

It would be such a bitch to paint tho. Just think about the masking and covering the car so the paint doesn't get on the rest of the car.

was thinking remove them or buy new. should be pretty cheap. i know the one that is on bottom of window is since we replaced it on the old gray camry when it had door blended.

I tried that, i did 12 layers and it chips easily even with a good sand down. Recently we experimented on my friends beater with chrome trims with plasti-dip and so far is lasting and no chips. This turns to a rubbery plastic when it dries and is weather-proof.
