If I leave my seat heaters on, will this melt? (PA snow picture)

Trying to dig out after the big storm, I would estimate that we have 21" and the driveway has drifted even higher.

What do you think, if I leave the seat heaters and defrosters on, will thie melt? LOL Sure hope that my sunroof doesn't leak!

Wow I live in the UP of Michigan where some our areas get 200 to 300 inches of snow a year. Right now I am looking out my window and I have about 2 inches of snow on the ground, and since Dec 28th we have had 1/2" of snowfall. It rained twice, which would have been the equivalent of 3 feet of snow according to meteorologists, but I don't have to shovel rain, so I don't care.

Believe it or not, it actually works as long as you can pull out of the driveway. Its funny when your on the highway and no one wants to drive behind you lol.

Also very unsafe, if there happens to be a chunk of ice under the snow, blows off and goes through a windshield and kills someone.

In some places it is illegal to not have your car fully cleared of debris and you can be ticketed. I know it is in Ontario.

I highly doubt soft snow kills anyone or crack any windshield, not really ice that gets stuck to the car than bunch of soft snow stacked up that slides off. Obviously if you have ice on your car, it would be impossible to drive, visually you can see on that car, the snow has not hardened as much for it to break windshields (especially this day in age that doesn't break so easily).

Of course you can... I climbed up on top of my Sequoia to clean off all the snow... really dangerous to have 30+ inches on top of anything

It's not much so the ice on top, but the constant spray of snow that drivers behind you car will get... I guess you've never driven behind one, but your visibility goes down to zero and the wipers will not go fast enough to fend of the spray of snow... That's what causes accidents...

Don't be lazy and please clean snow off your cars ppl. It helps everyone.
