CAR: 2008 toyota camry SE V6 30k miles 2 years old
So this happenned for the first time sunday afternoon. I was listening to music in the car for probably 15 mins at most while my key was in the first click. (car is off) then i turned it to the 2nd click to close my windows when my car's electricity went out. TOTALLY OUT. so i unplugged the negative part of the battery and put it back on (so i restarted the car basically) then it worked. Today, i had to do this in the morning, and 2 more times throughout the evening. It seems everytime i want to start my car, i would have to unplug the battery and plug it back in.
it happened to me before... If you don't trust me just go to local autozone ask them to run a check on your battery... speaking generally 30k is the time to get a new battery

hmm but theres a thing on the battery that shows the color green when the battery is still good and its showing green. is that unreliable?
also, if the battery was bad, simpling unpluging the battery and plugging it back in wont make it work all of a sudden will it? cuz if the battery is bad resulting in me not being able to start my car, unless i get my battery jumped by something, wouldnt it still not have enough juice even when i unplug the battery and plug it back?
do you still have your warranty with toyota? Or maybe extended(not sure what it covers), but if not, I'd prob get the battery checked just to make sure before you have toyota charge you to have the car diagnosed
btw can the fuses, maybe wiring being loose or blown cause this? Im not too sure, not a hardcore tech or electrical guy but would check what I can first to the best of my knowledge before paying toyota or a shop do it

yeah my warrenty is probably void because of all my mods but this started happenning after i got my car back from the dealership after getting my airbag fixed.... i wonder if i can put that on them and have them diagnose it for free. knowing the stearlership, they'll proably diagnose it and blame it on something else even if it was thier fault... bastards
how about connections at the battery? are they very tight and solid?
have you previously disconnected the batt for anything before this?
sounds like a real pain to have to do this to start the car. before you disconnect and reconnect is the car dead, lights very dim, etc? or is everything like it should be OK?

i did recently take the connections off. i just tightened them down right now. the connection seeemed to be good enough but i remember in my accord, i had the connecton loose on the battery and sometime when i started the car i guess the power sucked fro mthe battery caused the ring to pop off the connection so i would have to connect it back.
but this time, the rings are on the connection. i would have to take the ring off and put it back on. as if ur restarting a phone or mp3 player etc. after i "restartd" the car when i was turning the ignition on, it sounded weaker. i took the car for a drive to see if there was any power loss but everything seems fine. just starting the car is the problem. i'll be leavking my house in about 45min to an hour so hopefully it'll be working fine now.... after tightening the connection down.
Here's an idea: Go to Wal-Mart and pick up a battery & install it in your car. If it solves the problem, then you know what the problem was. If it doesn't solve the problem, just take it out, put your old one back in, and return the battery to Wal-Mart. This way you can find out if the battery is the problem and you won't have to spend a penny. Even if it does solve the problem and you don't want a Wal-Mart battery, you can still return it and go buy whatever battery you want. It's Wal-Mart so they will happily give you a refund without asking any questions. If they do ask just tell them you accidentally bought the wrong type of battery, lol.
Do you have an voltmeter (DMM)?
If so, try to measure the battery voltage :
a) when it is at OFF
b) when the engine is not running at ON position;
c) when the engine is not running and the radio is turned ON;
d) when you could not start the engine;
e) when you could not close or open the electric window;
f) when the engine is running at idle and at about 2000rpm.
These volt readings could give better insign of your car.

That is what I'm trying to tell him... He just makes problem complicate...
Go to autozone they check your battery for free, it does not hurt you...If you still in guarantee and if the problem not from the battery just ask the dealer to fix that... They cannot decline your guarantee unless the problem come from your set up... For example you put a sub on and that kill the rear speakers then they would decline your guarantee just for the rear speaker not your entire car guarantee...
99% sure it would be the battery problem since you said you leaves the radio on... which mean your habit is listen to radio without turn the engine on these would mean the radio sucking the juice from the battery often => lower battery life/power.
