thanks alot... but are aftermarket foglights bad??... sorry im like a total noob and i dont know anything about cars... i js wanted to get started to make my car look nice cause all of urs look awsome..
It all depends, Some are good, some are bad. The cheap ones off of ebay tend to usually crack, You get what you pay for. I would probably just use the wires, go buy a set of es300 fog housings and lenses and use that instead because i would drop in some HID's into it. But it all depends. You can use the one you have for now, Check it every so amount of weeks and if it isnt cracked in this cold weather, you should be fine for the time being...just please avoid putting hid's in there.
On a side note, my cam is still stock hahaha
but not for long, im going to be scraping soon

Have you installed the fogs yet? I'd use since you own em.
You can use the switch they gave you if you want. The electrical part is easy to do but you should have a place for the switch in the cabin where it fits in. I haven't done any switches in my Camry or even thought about it but if you have read the DYI mentioned above you can probably get some great ideas. You do not have the factory stalk which can be a good thing. It gives you more flexibility as to when the fogs can be turned on.
If you need help with the wiring let us know.
Personally I wouldn't solder the wire to the headlights unless you always want em on with the headlights, period. It's an easier install to do that which others may have done.

yeah theres a place where i can put the switch, theres a place for it under the side mirror adjuster... and i need some help on the wirings cause i was so lost because i didnt know where any of the plug ins go.. but im gonna giv it another try today... thanks for all the help guys..
your going to have to snip some of the plugs so you can tap into other wires, but before you sniip, you can test it out by fitting wire into the plug and touching other wires to make it work, im really considering to take out my wires and redo it, one to the battery and the other one into the car.

Same goes here, i started on this forum knowing NOTHING about cars but my knowledge base is growing.
I was going to say, the kit you got came with wiring no? If it did, installation is easy. I can scan my installation guide for my kit if you like. It shows you exactly where to put everything. Only hard thing would be getting the wire through the firewall and into the cabin i can imagine.

lol i cheated with the firewall part, i cut it from the power source, the one line part, and used added a longer line so its a single line and ran it through my engine bay...and its not always if the colors match, sometimes it might be off...best to test before you solder

so as long as the wires are the same color i can soder them together??
Do you even need to solder anything? Its basically just all plugging it into eachother. Only soldering i can imagine is if you want to tap into a power source..say your driving lights or parker lights for example.
