Gen6 mgkang84 Question Thread

Hi guys,
I have 2009 camry LE 4cyl with single exhaust.
I really like SE body lip kit instead of any other aftermarket bodykit.
I didn't lower it so I think SE lip kit is the best solution.
Does anyone knows I can get SE lip kit for the best price?
I searched it but I could not figure out which one is the best price.
I know lots of guys who have LE changed SE lip kit.
Please recommend some good site I can buy them.
and How much did you guys spend for SE lip kit and installation and paint?
Thanks guys.

Gen6 Which HID?

Hi guys.
I serched and I will definitely go with DDM kit.
Price is really good(under $50) and their service is good too.
but I have question.

I had 4300K HID kit. It was not bad. but
I plan to go with 6000K because It looks good(blue color)
Is it good? I saw some pics from other guys.
How do you guys think?

There are two kinds of HID. Which one is better? and 35w or 55w?
Do I have to buy HID wiring harness?
Please give me some reccomendation.

Instead of making a new thread for each question....i merged yours together...and retitled it. So you can keep adding your questions here

Just makes it easier and less cluttered

se body kit will cost you a nice penny unless you have some connections and can get the parts at cost. clips and misc hardware are along 200+ and the lips i believe are between 200 and 300 for the rgular cost and then u need someone to paint them and cut the slits in the bumper for em. there is actually not that many people who have done this. i am one of the few and i also know there is a guy who has a hybrid with the se kit but he used double sided tape and screws. doesn't look as clean as mine from what i hear. your probably looking at around a grand painted and installed for front and rear lips. but you can do it step by step and go on ebay to buy used parts.

for hids go 4300k or 5k for best output. 6k looks cool but output wise your getting close to halogens and it sucks when it rains. i believe its something like 4k lumens both sides versus 6400 with 4300k and 5600 with 5k. for the ballasts it just depends if u want slim or if u want small. get the new raptor v2 in 35w. they cheap and very good. using them in my es300 fogs. 55w will be brighter but the projector might not like it. cover the spotters also btw.

Welcome!

To answer your SE kit question, i read somewhere that you fellas in the US cant buy the SE kit and if you want it you need to get it imported from australia? Dont know how true that is though, but i remember reading it recently on these forums.

Should have gone with the SE. if you want to do the conversion from LE to SE, its going to cost you a pretty penny. not to mention it wont look as "clean" save your money for rims or some other mod. If you really want the SE loo, im sure there are TN users who are willing to guide u in the right direction. PM Pawel062.

I think it would be cheaper if you go with a different body kit/kip kit completely. I know theres one out there that looks similar to the SE

trade in or go razzi. if you have the balls then do se. it'll cost more but if done right it will become a se. i get looks from SEs all the time usually for my other mods.
