USA 2002 camry front bumper

I need a front bumper for my japan built 02 camery. I can only get one for a USA built car. What is the difference between a USA and Japan car? I don't need the fog lights.

Assuming you are talking about the bumper cover.......

Looks like they are the same...at least for 2002-2004.

W/o fog lamp - Us built 2002-04; japan built 2002-06

I recently bought a front bumper cover for the 2003 Camry - ordered the US built one without fog holes, but they sent me a Japan built with fog holes. The only difference I found was this - there are tabs on the top edge of the bumper that fit into clips on the bumper retainer. Those tabs were slightly too wide so I had to trim them to fit.

At least I'm assuming that is why the tabs were too wide - it is also possible that it was because not being a genuine Toyota part.

Webjones - I have a 2002 Japan built 4 cylinder LE Camry without fog lights. There are currently filler plates plugging each fog light hole. I would like to buy a pre-painted front bumper cover for a 2002 without the fog light holes. Based on your experience, do you think the two parts are interchangeable? I am also curious to know how much it costs to get a front bumper cover painted. Was it difficult to swap the covers? Any tips or advice?

Thanks in advance!

The only difference between JP and US Build bumpers is the JP build has a 2 x 2 plastic pop out where the tie down area is for when it was shipped in. (i have JP as well).

I just had my front bumper replaced with a US build and it fits fine.... it takes about 10mins to get the old off and about the same to put the new one on. you unscrew the splash guard under the car and there is a screw under the splash guard on each wheel well. One they're unscrewed pop the plastic pins that are under the hood and pull the bumper off...repeat for the new one going on.

Here is a pic...ignore the damage...lol it's now fixed. had the whole front end and roof painted.
