Remote Starter and Tach Wires (Can't locate some of the wires)

I have a 2004 I4 Camry SE. I am trying to tap some wires to my receiver of my remote starter, but I can't locate them. I know the color and the general direction, but it is really difficult for me because there are few similar color at the same place. I don't know which one is the right one.
If you can, can you picture me or give me a little bit more detail about it.
So...I need:

1) Tachometer Wire Negative Wire (-): Black/Orange
Tachometer Wire Negative Wire Location: At ECM, Pin 31 on connector 5.
----- Where is the ECM, how does the Pin 31 look like, what the heck is connection 5? Is it black stripe with orange? --------

2) Parking Light Positive Wire (+): Green
Parking Light Positive Wire Location: At dimmer switch.
--------- There are 2-3 wires that are green. Light green? Dark green? Medium green? I don't know which one is right. Most importantly, some website says this wire is actually located below the fuse box. Which one is true? ----------

3) Factory Alarm Disarm Wire (-): Blue
Factory Alarm Disarm Wire Location: White 20 pin connector inside driver kick panel.
---------- Same thing, which blue? Too many ------------

That is all. If possible, please take me a picture. If you know where they are, please instruct me a little bit.

We are not permitted to link directly to the service manuals, so copy and paste, the following: {Remove the upper case H first.}

Hhttp://camrystuff.com/

There aren't any real pictures, but the wiring diagrams will give you the correct colors and the connector locations.

Tach/Tachless Mode

I have a 2004 I4 Camry SE. I am trying to install a remote starter for my car. I have followed instruction and install all those kind of stuffs. But in the manual, there is a wire that is for "Tach/Tachless Mode". I am wondering what is for. They do not introduce the benefit of using this or anything. My car seems to working fine, but I am not sure.

Do I need to tap this wire too? What is "Tach/Tachless Mode" mean?

Since your questions are related to your remote start, please keep them together.

Q: What is the difference between Tach Mode and Tachless Mode on a Remote Starter?

A: The difference is the amount of crank time. In Tach Mode the crank time is approximately six seconds. In Tachless Mode the module will engage the starter up to four times at an interval of 0.5 seconds. Tachless Mode saves you time during the installation due to the fact that you have one less wire to locate and hook up.

I would go to the manufacturer's web site and check out their specific FAQ regarding the remote start.

Where is the Tach wire?

I have a 2004 Camry SE. I am trying to locate the Tach wire. Can you guys help me? I have looked up the "camrystuff" website, but I still don't get it. I am doing this for my remote starter. Can you tell me which connector and which wire please?

Secondly, I am wondering what is TMMK and TMC? My car is made in Japan, so it is a TMC made, or it is just nothing to do with this?

ON THE 2.4L ENGINE, THE TACH WIRE IS AT THE DATA LINK CONNECTOR UNDER THE DRIVER SIDE DASH . WIRE IS BLACK/ORANGE COLOR

ON THE 3.0L ENGINE, THE TACH WIRE IS AT THE ECM (Engine Control Module) BEHIND THE GLOVEBOX, IA A 31-PIN PLUG, PIN 5.

TMMK is made is USA, vin# begins with 4T
TMC (toyota motor corp) is made in Japan, vin# begins with JT

this vehicle uses both starter and 2nd starter wires, the 2nd starter wire looks like it is for the relay, very thin, took me a couple try to find it.

Please keep all your tach wire questions in one thread. There is no need to make a new thread on the same topic. I have updated your thread title.
