Gen5 Universal Mufflers ?

Hey its me again ive decided to get a muffler looking for one currently and I just want to know with universal mufflers are they easy to install and is there any tips tricks to make this process easier ? and do I need anything other than whats in my shed at home?

yeah need to be welded on, go to muffler/exhaust shop they can do it for u( i done it twice)

I thought could just clamp them on and use sealent cause most cars aren't welded on in the first place.

It came with it on its standard on the sportivo here but can you tell me any way.

you can if you want it to leak and sound crappy. stock cars aren't welded because they are engineered to work together.. a universal muffler may be different inlet sizes, basically...just have it welded...it will take about 5 minutes...

and punks knows exactly what your kit is. haha

is not clamp on, its bolt on the car n the pipe is weld on the muffler

get a trd exhaust, it is bolt on, no welding needed.

depend on the taste of everyone, with me the TRD is nice but its overprice to me, this is my 2nd custom muffler, still cheap n no one have it n custom like the way i want it

Aye didn't we go over this a few weeks ago? The TRD (nor any other off the shelf system) isn't an option for an Aus gen 5 (different floor pan and we can't get TRD parts here easily).

Take it to someone who can weld to slice the flange and hangers of the stocker and weld to the new one.

To the OP; Where in australia are you located in mate? Cause if your thinking of getting a universal muffler aswell (vibrant), maybe we can talk and combine shipping costs if your located in melbourne and if were planning to get it from the same seller.
