Gen6 My Camry feels a little off

I have a 07 Camry SE 4 banger that I bought back in 5/06. My wife has driven the car for the last 3 years so I rarely ever drive it. The car only has 18K miles on it and the tires are dry rotting between the threads so between that and her driving me crazy about it being unsafe since I have the non denso gas pedal I'm just letting her drive my Rav4 and I'm driving the Camry. The tires definitely need replacing but I'm broke so I'm waiting until I find a deal or one of them blows out lol. The car doesn't seem to be braking as well as my Rav4 but I'm guessing that it has to do with the tires I dont think the brakes would be gone after 18k would they? But the main concern that I have is that the car shakes when I'm stopped at a red light, granted it's not the same vibration as a 1981 Toyota Tercel but you can see the navigation on the windshield vibrating allot and you can even feel it when the cars in gear at the light if you kick it into neutral it goes away. I have never done anything to the car but change the oil do you think I need to change the air filter or something?

Yea check your air filter. Take it to the dealer and have them look at it, just to be safe.

I don't think your brakes will be gone at 18K either, maybe you need adjustments.

As far as the tire cracking is concerned, call the manufacturer and discuss it with their customer service department. I had this problem on a set of Dunlop tires I once purchased. I got the tires at Sam's Club and took the car back there and they said there is no problem with that. That's when I called Dunlop. They (Dunlop) said it definitely is a problem and the tires are warranteed for 4 years from the date they were put in service against cracking. I went back to Sam's Club with that information and they warranteed them; prorated based on the remaining tread dept. Might be worth your time to give the manufacturer a call or stop by one of the manufacturer's direct retail stores.

so you shift into neutral and it goes away... if you get the tires taken to a shop and looked at, get a look at the alignment too? I remember I had some alignment issues and the tire shop I was at said something about shifting into neutral and the steering wheel rattle went away, don't remember exactly what though

your tires seem like they may be the problem though

The front tires dont have much meat left but the rear ones have a bit of meat left. They are the oem tires that came with the car. The sad part is that I even had summer wheels on the car for 2 suymmers so they probaly only have like 10-12K actual mileage on them.
