Safety Recall: What does your gas pedal mod look like? Are you satisfied?

Had the 2007 camry in the dealers for the 2 safety rcealls; Accelerator Bar Reinforcement Bar Installation and Potential floor mat interference with accelerator pedal. They cut the accelerator pedal and it look hideous.

Have you had your accelerator pedal cut for the safety recall?

If so, what does your pedal look like? Are you satisfied with the design of the modification and the workmanship?

We're very dissatisifed with the design of the modification and the workmanship performed on the cut pedal. It's criminal. Looks like rats chewed it. The service manager said "thats the way Toyota wants us to do it". We'll be working with customer service to make reparations (replenishment of a previously inflicted loss by the criminal to the victim). Stay tuned...

it doesn't look great, but at the same time it looks as if they barely cut any off?

They will shave it, that means you can't use your sport cover anymore. I would think twice before bringing it in.

I refused mine from my local dealer. Sure they'll replace the entire assembly when the new pedals are made but I'll wait until last minute to cut it. I don't want them to rape her again. She already had a screwdriver poked through her carpet the day I bought her...

lol...my post can be read in a different way
