Hey,
hope this helps some folks out. I have posted a few questions about this in the past, but I found the solution today. (Also posted this on Tacoma World Forums). We have a 2007 Tacoma and a 2005 Camry. On both vehicles the retainer rings in the carpet (the ones that hold the clips in) pulled out. Till now, there wasn't much that could be done except leave it as is or zip tie the mats down or bolt them to the floor as some suggested.
I contacted World Toyota in Atlanta today and they said that Toyota now has a replacement ring kit. (Lots of people having the same problem).
The Part Number is 58297-50020
I ran to the dealer and picked up 4 (at about $5 each).

Tacoma Install
Installation on the Tacoma is REALLY easy. Pull up the door sill and reach your hand under the carpet (not as hard as it sounds). They just snap together and are much bigger than the stock ones so they shouldn't pull out again. Total install time was 15-20 mins. I have a 2007 which DOESN'T have them on the passenger side. I will likely install them there too because the mat always bunches up on that side too. Piece of cake!!!
Camry Install:
These were not "approved" for the Camry, but looking at them I knew they would work. The retaining clips are the same as the Tacoma. Installation is a bit trickier, but not bad. I tried to do it the same way as the Tacoma, but the wiring is held down with a bracket under the sill that won't allow you to pull the carpet away from the side. I instead unbolted the Driver seat (4 easy bolts). The Carpet is in 2 pieces in the Camry and they join under the seat. I reached in from there and it was no problem. There is some foam backing on the carpet so you may need to just pull some of it off where the clips go to make it thin enough for the clips to snap together. I'd say it takes 30 mins with the Camry.
Again, you can bolt them or zip tie them, but this looks WAY better, is a piece of cake to install, and shouldn't pull out like the old ones!
Hope this helps out!!
