Anyone run without mufflers on the V6?

hey guys, yesterday i took off the mufflers just for the heck of it to see how it sounds... i must say i was quite impressed. it wasn't extremely loud...well at least no louder then my 00 trans am with loudmouth exhaust lol. it had a nice sporty sound to it though.

so what im wondering is if anyone has just run some pipes from the flanges back and put some tips on em? if so anyone have any video clips or pictures of their setup?

There are other videos by this user driving with no exhaust (temporary as he was changing his exhaust). However, the users driving behavior is not condoned on this forum. its the same person who has the cherry bomb exhaust. Running car with no exhaust will probably result in a ticket and bad for the environment and failure for inspection.

yeah thats deff not how mine sounded... it wasn't as loud at idle as that. maybe he took more then just the mufflers off. im gonna guess he took off from the resonator but eh who knows its always hard to tell with video.

also im pretty sure as long as you have cats on your car still its not illegal unless its to loud. i could be wrong though haha

Wonder what the drone in the car would be like with no mufflers.

Take the mufflers off some cars and the "buzz" inside will drive you up the wall on a light cruise!
