Ok i've searched and checked out the various exhaust clips and such, but most of those are just the mufflers correct?
I've contacted one online retailer about the availability of the TRD catback.
But aside from that one, which other catbacks fit easily without really too much customizing?Haven't found the exact post I was looking for, so what's the stock pipe size on our exhaust? If I'm gonna spend some money on exhaust its gonna be catback.I found one from borla, but it's "universal".and in my experience the term universal isn't exactly true.

2010 V6SE
TRD is the only catback out of the box. All other brands are just mufflers and require custom piping and work. Stock pipes are 2.25 I believe.
The Borla is probably the muffler and not the pipes for catback. Each cars underbody is designed differently so not all cars will have the same angle and length of pipes. Same goes for flanges that connects to pipes and pipe width.
custom with me is better bc u can get what u want n make it the way u want it. i did twice n both time r cheap n unique the way i want it. plus its way cheaper

Agree and disagree... Agree that yes, custom is a better way to go if you want to build an exhaust setup to the spec you want it.
Disagree that with custom, you set your own price... Cheap, with crush bent non-stainless steel piping... to pricey, with mandrel bent stainless steel piping... To expensive, true dual, mandrel bent, stainless, coated...

link doesn't work. best is to buy 2 mufflers like vibrant or hks or magnaflow and then go to some exhaust shops and whichever has best price have em install them along with say 2.5" piping from cat to the back along with resinator removal or relocation to new piping.
TRD is a breeze to install but cost a bit much, they have a borla axle back which is just the bolt on mufflers. If you're after sound you're better off buying some universal HKS or Apex-i mufflers and pay a shop to replace your mufflers.
Best to start with mufflers. Seems like you like the Borla's... so go with them... order two unless you want to go single like me.
Then know if you want a resonator or not. I recommend one to keep the droning to a minimum.
Next, choose a reputable shop. I go to JE Import Performance. They do excellent custom work. And they are one of the few who are willing to work with Camrys... Trust me, I called around.
See what the shop can offer in terms of piping (size, mandrel, steel). Since you have a V6, I recommend 2.5 piping all the way through, with 2.25 piping from the split.
Bring the shop you stuff and have them install it. They should provide all the flanges and gaskets. Let them know how you want the mufflers to be placed (angled, slanted, straight), how close you want it to sit compared to the bumper, etc... it's one of the joys of going custom, you can make it to your liking.
OR, you can just buy mine =) I still have my mufflers from the axle back... you just need a shop to weld on the straight section. PM me if interested... hahaha
