coming to 100,000 miles

thanks for helping guys, what should I need to take care before it my camry 2007 (4 cylinders) automatic transmission about 83,000 miles now. Do i need to change the timing chain? Or anything else in particular when it is at 100K miles. Thanks

Your car has a timing chain so no replacement needed. If you haven't had ur radiator flushed yet it would be a good idea to do that. And prlly a transmission flush too.

if you change the oil you will probably never need to change the timing chain.
I tore apart my old 1988 nissan pickup Z24 engine to change the timing chain. Because it had 250,000 miles on it. Come to find the gears and chain were clean, no bow on the chain once removed, no wear marks on either gears or chain and almost like new. and could probably have easily gone at least another 50,000 miles. ( a worn timing chain and gears can often be spotted just by removing the approriate covers andlooking at them - if worn the gears often have a round wear ridge under each tooth.) The only worn part was the tensioner, which on the nissan z24 engine is a spring-loaded rubber block.
This engine had its oil changed (dinon oil) every 2500 miles.

If i had to do it again i'd just replace the tensioner for $20 and let it go until the chain started making noise!
